Setting Up KakaoTalk With a Foreign Number

  1. Step 1: Register while your home SIM still receives texts

    Install KakaoTalk (free on the App Store and Google Play) and start sign-up before you fly, or while your home SIM is still active on roaming. On the phone number screen, tap the country selector and change it from Korea to your own country, then enter your mobile number without the country code. Will Koreans be able to find me if they only have my foreign number?
